The first half of 2026 has been an exciting and impactful period for EcoClub 360 at Ghanata Senior High School. Guided by the Club's Patron, Mr. Timon Agyapong, and supported by EcoClub 360, students demonstrated that young people can lead meaningful environmental action and inspire positive change on campus and beyond.
During the period, Club members combined a variety of activities, including strategic meetings, environmental education sessions, tree planting and waste management initiatives. The activities strengthened students leadership, including girls and marginalised students, while raising awareness of environmental responsibility, promoting sustainable habits within the entire school community and supporting Ghanata Senior High School's 90thAnniversary celebration. The Club elected new student leaders, identified learning materials and equipment needed to improve the Club's work, and intensified environmental stewardship by monitoring trees planted by previous EcoClub 360 Ghanata Senior High School cohorts I and II, reinforcing the importance of nurturing trees after planting. 
EcoClub 360 continued to build environmental knowledge and leadership among students through regular engagements on climate change, biodiversity conservation, sustainable waste management, and environmental responsibility.
These sessions are helping Club members become ambassadors for sustainable development in their homes and communities. As Ghanata Senior High School celebrates its 90th Anniversary in September 2026, EcoClub 360 remains committed to supporting the School's vision of excellence by promoting environmental sustainability and active citizenship among students. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the club aims to expand environmental education, strengthen partnerships, implement more practical sustainability initiatives, and empower even more students to become champions for climate action. Together, we are nurturing a generation that understands that protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility.
